Mmmm, not sure about that decision.

Still, it's in India so no major surprise.

Calm down boys. The third umpire must've had conclusive evidence.

Grumps; what do you think of kohli as a batsman?

" waves india flag"

Re: 5th Test: India v England at Chennai
Nothing conclusive about it FH you slag!!!!!

And whisper it quietly, but other than all Essex players, Kohli is my favourite cricketer in the world and I love watching him in full flow.

Not only a magnificent player, but I love his attitude and will to win.

Bizarre how much he struggles in England.

Good player, Kohli.

Do you reckon he'll push his average in England into double figures next time he visits?

This is brilliant by Boycott about the great West Indies teams:

"The people who voted were very smart. Unlimited bouncers, the fastest bowler I ever faced in Michael Holding, the most difficult bowler to score off in Joel Garner, Malcolm Marshall who was the best bowler of the lot, and the nastiest of the lot who was Colin Croft - tail-enders were terrified of him. Then with Viv Richards, Gordon Greenidge, Desmond Haynes... I told them that I'd like to come back as a West Indian. You bat once, you don't have to bat against their bowlers, and you get a day off at the beach."

I see Kohli wants to play county cricket before India come back to England again.
You would hope the counties would act in England's interests and STYMIE that ambition

Grumpster 3:32 Fri Dec 16
Re: 5th Test: India v England at Chennai
Any county would be crazy financially to turn him down really Sven.

We're not short of Indian cricket fans over here and fuck me he would get some extra bums on seats for all of his games.

Collapse mode has set in, were in for a few years of crap bar Root with the bat.

Re: 5th Test: India v England at Chennai
No we're not, Hameed will be our best player in the not too distant future, but the most important thing is getting the order right.

Still, I've been told on here that the England coach hasn't got the time to watch potential players, so it's no surprise he doesn't know what the best thing to do with them is.

Sven Roeder 9:25 Sat Dec 17
Re: 5th Test: India v England at Chennai
The captain picks the batting order after the selectors give him a team.
Cook is 32 on Christmas day so probably has another 3 or 4 years left particularly if he drops back to just batting.
They have had a look at a few batsmen over the last couple of years and have enough players to form a batting line up on non subcontinent pitches.

Eerie Descent 9:29 Sat Dec 17
Re: 5th Test: India v England at Chennai
The coach doesn't have a say in the batting line up?

Who was it that decided Strokes would bat at 6?

And Peter Motors, like hm or loathe him, at least knew the fucking players he wanted in the squad.
